A global presence
A WORLDWIDE RESEARCH COMMUNITY
To best meet the needs of the various regions in which Danone operates, Danone Nutricia Research's scientific teams are present in 55 countries to promote proximity with consumers and their markets, and develop products close to local needs and tastes.
DANONE RESEARCH DANIEL CARASSO CENTre (PALAISEAU, FRANCE)
This centre, which opened in 2002, is the original Danone research site. It is a powerful catalyst for innovation for all brands in the Group's Dairy and Waters divisions around the world and collaborates
closely with local research and development teams.
The missions that guide the Daniel Carasso Centre staff form the very core of Danone's research and development philosophy: develop great products, provide health and well-being through food, and better understand and adapt to the cultural needs of our consumers.
NUTRICIA RESEARCH (UTRECHT, NETHERLANDS)
This centre, which opened in 2013, is dedicated to developing new product concepts for Early Life and Medical Nutrition. At the forefront of innovation in the life sciences and product technology, it develops formulas with health benefits for vulnerable consumers with specialized nutritional needs, such as pregnant women, infants, young children, the elderly and patients. This centre has taken on and reinforced the missions and functions of the Centre for Specialised Nutrition in Wageningen, Netherlands.
