Danone Nutricia announces unique social enterprise designed to set a standard for nutrition practice in the early years
Danone Nutricia Early Life Nutrition today announces the launch of The Early Years Nutrition (EYN) Partnership. The EYN Partnership is an innovative and independent social enterprise working to improve the future health outcomes of young children by setting a standard for nutrition practice in early years settings.
The EYN Partnership has been created with the Pre-school Learning Alliance, the British Nutrition Foundation and Danone Nutricia Early Life Nutrition. It is built on a collaborative approach in which complementary skills and expertise contributed by each partner are harnessed to create shared value.
Danone Nutricia Early Life Nutrition celebrates top 10 ranking in Great Place To Work® UK’s Best Workplaces 2016
Danone Nutricia Early Life Nutrition is adding another accolade to its industry awards, having been ranked 10th in this year’s Great Place to Work® UK Best Workplaces (Medium) category. The business, which is also celebrating its 10th year of strong growth in the UK, has an established reputation for its positive company culture, and this year’s ranking takes the firm up two places higher than the 2015 position.
Prof. Philip Calder is 10th recipient of the Danone international Prize for Nutrition
Prof. Philip Calder of the University of Southampton (UK) is named as the 10th recipient of the Danone International Prize for Nutrition for his cutting edge research on fatty acid metabolism and functionality, focusing notably on the immune, inflammatory and cardiometabolic systems.
The Danone International Prize for Nutrition is one of the most distinguished honours in the field of nutritional science and carries with it a donation of 120,000 €. It is awarded every two years to reward
internationally outstanding researchers and promote their work in this field.
